Joshua Tree Elopement

The broad desert landscape - dotted with rocky hills and sharp formations, resilient cacti and their cousins, and the distinct shapes of Joshua trees - is the perfect place for adventurous couples looking for an elopement destination or epic wedding portraits. I love shooting Joshua Tree and this day was unforgettable!

We drove for a few miles into the park, and by a rock formation close to the entrance, away from popular sightseeing and camping sides further into the park such as the Hidden Valley Campsite. This allowed us to focus on the shoot without other park visitors getting in the way of our shots. I really like this part about Joshua Tree - the entire park is extremely photogenic, so there was no need to drive for miles to a single popular photo location!

I've been to Joshua Tree to shoot many times in the past, and it never disappoints!
